2026 White Coat Ceremony
We are excited to welcome the DMD Class of 2028 and the DMD Advanced Standing Class of 2027, as well as their family and friends, to the 2026 White Coat Ceremony, which marks the half-way points of students’ dental school experience and celebrates their entrances into the school’s Patient Treatment Center.

*Students must arrive for the ceremony by 12 p.m.
Registration
Participating students may bring up to five guests.
Additional ticket requests are not being taken at this time. If you register for all five guest tickets and do not end up using them, you are welcome to coordinate directly with your classmates to give your unused tickets to someone else. This does not need to be facilitated through our office.

FAQs
What time do doors open for the event?
The doors open at 12pm. Please have your tickets with unique QR code out and ready when you arrive for a faster & smoother check in process.
Do children require a ticket?
If a child will be occupying their own seat, they are required to have a ticket. However, infants in strollers or small children sitting on a guest’s lap who are not using a seat do not require a ticket.
Are walk ins allowed?
Walk-ins will not be permitted as we cannot accommodate any extra guests on the day of the event. If you do not have a ticket, you are not able to attend the event.
If I am driving, where can I park?
Visitor parking is available at the Agganis Arena at 925 Commonwealth Ave. The rate is $25 max for more than 3 hours of parking. Please note that the George Sherman Union is 0.5 miles away (about 9 min walk) from this garage. Commonwealth Ave and it’s side streets have plenty of meters as well.
Are there seating arrangements?
The ceremony is open seating.
Will there be food arrangements?
Their will be a reception immediately following the ceremony with light refreshments & snacks until 4:30pm. All major allergies / dietary restrictions will be accounted for (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan).
Will there be a photographer?
We will have a roaming photographer documenting the ceremony. These photos will be uploaded to our Flikr account (www.flickr.com/photos/bu_dental/albums) after the event.
