Capstone Awards October 13
In 2017, CGS students addressed a range of real-world problems through their Capstone projects, including the regulation of domestic drones, sexual violence against women on campuses, local water access, and the use of neurological drugs. On October 13, CGS will celebrate these outstanding projects in the annual award ceremony. Lecture and Film Screening: The Moral Injury of War October 25 Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Wood will give the keynote address for a series of dialogues on the moral injury of war. The keynote follows a screening of the documentary Almost Sunrise and a panel discussion featuring BU faculty. In Memory of Elie Wiesel: A Day of Learning and Celebration September 17 The Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies honors the enduring legacy of an extraordinary teacher, the Nobel Laureate and world-renowned writer Elie Wiesel, who was the Andrew W.
