The journal Religions is issuing a call for papers for a special issue entitled "Orthodoxy and Evangelicalism: Contemporary Issues in Global Perspective." Nationalism and Internationalism in the Young Ecumenical Movement

Dana L. Robert of Boston University and Judith Becker of Humboldt University are sponsoring "Nationalism and Internationalism in the Young Ecumenical Movement, 1985-1920s," a virtual conference taking place on October 8-10, 2020. The conference program features several presenters affiliated with the Center for Global Christianity and Mission--Ada Focer, Yeongseung Lee, David W. Scott, and Benjamin Hartley. Call for Papers: Christianity in China, 1300-1700

On behalf of the China Christianity Studies Group (中國基督宗教研究學會), an affiliated society of the Renaissance Society of America (RSA) and of the Association for Asian Studies (AAS), Eugenio Menegon offers a call for scholars to organize one panel on Christianity in China in the period 1300-1700 for the 2021 RSA Meeting in Dublin, Ireland. Following the postponement of its 2020 summer conference due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Ecclesiastical History Society invites articles for a peer-reviewed volume of Studies in Church History on the Church in Sickness and in Health. From the earliest times, the Church has cared for the sick and the health of society both in a physical and spiritual sense. Boston University’s Institute for Culture, Religion, and World Affairs (CURA) invites BU faculty and graduate students to apply to become fellows in the interdisciplinary Colloquium on Religion and World Affairs run in cooperation with the BU School of Theology. In the midst of a pandemic that is shaking the globe we call for papers for a special issue of Studies in World Christianity  that analyse immediate responses to COVID-19 and that give some historical perspective on pandemics or epidemics. We do this in order to resource further response to pandemic whose effects will be with us for some years to come.
