  1. I appreciate the protocols but what about BU allowing its students to travel abroad on the ASB programs.
Don’t you think it’s time to cancel all trips?

    A very concerned parent.

      1. Hello,
I just have a question regarding international travel. My daughter has an internship scheduled for June. As of last night we thought all was cancelled but today she says that email was for some other trip but that makes no sense to me as it should include any BU student travelling abroad?

    1. Ya’ got your wish. All ASB trips cancelled as of today. Blessings upon all the participants, especially all the co-cos who have worked so diligently since last October to make these trips as awesome as they can be. I will truly miss this year’s group; this is unprecedented in the 9 years I have been supporting BU ASB NOLA. Of course, no one should ever have a problem with erring on the side of caution for the safety and well-being of all concerned.

  2. The US certainly has the best health care system on the planet. If any country is prepped and ready to deal with this pandemic, it’s going to be us.

Don’t forget, Mike Pence is a fairly seasoned pandemic leader, having overseen the response in Indiana while he was governor during an HIV outbreak. Trump may not be a great guy, but Pence is a veteran at this.

Not only that, but compared to say the fragile political situation in Italy or the Xi’s own fragile view of himself in China, the US is free from such political nonsense, ensuring that the pandemic will be dealt with objectively and honestly. I really don’t get why some people are so paranoid that there is a run on grocery stores and Costco.

  3. I am an MET Graduate student and will be graduating in May. My family and I do plan to travel to Boston for graduation ceremonies. Is there talk of the ceremonies being cancelled or postponed? Thanks.

  4. What happens in case of an outbreak? How is BU planning to manage classes? My son is a sophomore at BU and we are wondering if Bu is prepared to conduct classes online.
