Email marketing request

🔔 Before submitting your request, please review our timeline, point person expectations, and guidelines to ensure a smooth, efficient process. This helps our team stay aligned and produce high-quality email communications.

The Advancement Broadcast Email process is managed by the Engagement Communications (EngCom) team in collaboration with the Annual Giving and Development Communications (DevCom) teams. EngCom leads the management of the email marketing calendar to ensure our alumni and friends receive relevant, engaging content without email fatigue.

Currently, you can choose between two core focuses for your email request:

  1. Alumni engagement-driven – Managed and built by the EngCom team.
  2. Donor/prospect-driven with a curated audience – Built by DevCom, specifically for donor-only audiences and VIP events coordinated through Danielle Luger’s team. Note that while DevCom builds these select emails, the EngCom team is still manages the schedule and deployment.
  • We do not accept submissions for solicitations. If you are interested in that, please touch base with our Annual Giving colleagues.
  • We do not accept email requests for Alumni Weekend. If you need communications related to that event, please reach out to Hannah Gathman (hgathman@bu.edu) directly to coordinate.
