Dress code
For the Welcome Reception, Summit and Brunch, the dress code is business casual. For the Celebration, business and cocktail attire are encouraged.
Pitchfest application
BU’s Latam Pitchfest is a competition that enables students and recent graduates to present their tech business ideas to renowned alumni and entrepreneurs and get their endeavors interest and support. Three alumni tech entrepreneur judges will provide feedback to each participant. The winner will be determined by the audience submitting their vote via QR Code. The finalist will receive a prize and be featured on @bualumni’s social media channels.

Joining the competition will allow you to connect with peers and build supportive relations with young entrepreneurs across BU’s Latino & Hispanic community.
Eligibility requirements
Applicant must:
- Be a current Boston University student or recent graduate (Classes of 2023–2020)
- Be of either Latino or Hispanic ethnicity; or have a focus on the Latin American market
- Have an idea to start a tech company; or have already started a company that’s generated less than $1 million in capital
- Be able to travel to Miami, FL for the in-person event on November 11, 2023
