Mosaic Community Welcome

Congratulations to the Boston University Class of 2028!

At our annual Mosaic Community Welcome, newly admitted first-year students get an inside view of what it’s like to be a student at BU.

Mosaic Community Welcome

Boston University hosts Mosaic Community Welcome (MCW) for admitted students to explore the diversity at BU. MCW is a two-night, three-day overnight program providing admitted students with the opportunity to explore the academic, social, and multicultural community at BU. In addition to attending Open House programming, MCW attendees will jumpstart connections with future classmates, celebrate culture and identity, and participate in various on-campus activities facilitated by the Admissions Student Diversity Board (ASDB). MCW may be of particular interest to those interested in learning about the diverse communities at Boston University including first-generation students, students of color, LGBTQIA+ students, students from low-income backgrounds, and students from rural communities. However, any student interested in learning about diversity at Boston University is welcome to attend.

More Information

MCW is a three-day, two-night overnight experience held on Thursday, April 11 – Saturday, April 13, in conjunction with the Open House programs on those dates. We recommend students attend the MCW date corresponding to their Open House program, and parents and guardians can attend other Open Campus programming while students participate in MCW programming.
