Late Entry Accelerated Program (LEAP)

Interested in a career in engineering? For over 40 years, the Late Entry Accelerated Program (LEAP)  has made it possible for students with non-engineering backgrounds to earn a master’s degree in engineering. No two LEAP students are the same. With a program designed to adapt to each student’s academic background, our students come from diverse backgrounds, including fine arts, neuroscience, finance, philosophy, and industrial design, and go on to work in engineering roles at top companies, such as Amazon Robotics, Draper, Lockeed Martin, and NASA.

Our one-of-a-kind program begins with a streamlined set of undergraduate courses that puts you on par with students graduating with a bachelor’s in engineering. After completing the necessary undergraduate courses, you’ll begin your master’s program in one of the following areas: Biomedical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics & Autonomous Systems, or Systems Engineering.
