Bio

After having earned a PhD in Victorian literature and having taught college writing for several years at schools such as Tufts University, Simmons College, and Bentley University, Sarah Hanselman recognized the unique needs of non-native speaking students and completed a Graduate Certificate in TESOL.  She now teaches predominantly in the Writing Program’s ELL sequence.  In addition to WR 111 and WR 112, she teaches literature-based WR 120 topics such as “Conformity and Rebellion in Literature” and “Short Fiction.”
