Master Lecturer
Maria Gapotchenko teaches seminars on friendship and on a variety of topics in 19th and 20th century Russian literature. In the Core Curriculum, where she is also Writing Coordinator, she teaches CC 101 (Ancient Worlds) and CC 102 (The Way: Antiquity and the Medieval World).
Maria’s poetry has appeared in Boston University’s literary magazine Clarion and in Literary Mama. She has also translated scholarly works in literary criticism, sociology, music and theater arts, and Soviet archival studies.
