Jason Tandon has taught in the Writing Program since 2008 on topics such as modern and contemporary American poetry and existential literature, philosophy, and film. He is the author of four books of poetry: This Far North , The Actual World, Quality of Life, Wee Hour Martyrdom, and Give Over the Heckler and Everyone Gets Hurt, winner of the 2006 St. Lawrence Book Award. His poems have appeared in many journals and magazines, including Ploughshares, Prairie Schooner, The Southern Review, Beloit Literary Journal, North American Review and elsewhere.
