Master Lecturer

Bio

Christopher McVey is a Master Lecturer in the Boston University Writing Program, where he teaches courses on AI Philosophy and Ethics, post-apocalyptic fiction and film, poetry of witness, and topics in literature. He is part of a team studying student practices and beliefs about generative AI, and he is currently a member of the Boston University AAC&U Institute on AI and the Curriculum.

Among other roles, he has served as a Curricular Coordinator in the Writing Program, the Studio Coordinator for the Kilachand Honors College first-year writing studio classes, and helped to develop the new BU Writing Program portfolio program.
