Bio
Malavika comes to BU after several years of teaching linguistics and writing at the University of Texas at Austin and at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She uses her background in linguistics to teach classes related to language and society and uses Wikipedia in her classroom as a way to develop her student’s research and information literacy skills. Malavika is also a creative writer. She has written an award-winning children’s book and her work has been published in the Kenyon Review and in other places.
