Master’s & Certificate Deadlines
Spring 2027
- International On-Campus Applicants: November 1, 2026
- Domestic and Online Applicants: December 15, 2026
Fall 2027
Priority Deadline:
January 15, 2027 – Applications submitted by this date will receive priority consideration for admission and scholarship.
You can submit your application after January 15, following the final deadlines below.*
Program-Specific Deadlines:
- Sport Psychology Counseling (EdM): February 1, 2027
- Child Life & Family-Centered Care (MS): February 1, 2027
- Mental Health & School Counseling (EdM): March 15, 2027
All Remaining Master’s and Certificate programs:
- International On-Campus Applicants: July 1, 2027
- Domestic and Online Applicants: August 1, 2027
*Applications completed after the priority deadline will be considered for admission on a space-available basis.
- Scholarships will be awarded after the priority deadline based on availability at the time of review.

Cutoff Application Dates
Although many graduate programs at BU Wheelock accept applications on a rolling basis, we stop accepting Boston Campus program applications six weeks before classes begin.
Decision Timeline
BU Wheelock releases admissions decisions about eight weeks after receiving a completed application and after the program-specific deadline has passed.
During summer (around mid-May to early September) and winter breaks (around mid-December to mid-January), your application may take longer to review. Consider applying during the academic year to receive a quicker response.
For priority consideration for admission and scholarship funding, we strongly encourage you to submit your application by the recommended deadline.
