Timeline for Graduate Program Admissions Decisions
BU Wheelock releases admissions decisions about eight weeks after receiving a completed application. During summer (around mid-May to early September) and winter breaks (around mid-December to mid-January), it may take longer for your application to be reviewed. Consider applying during the academic year to receive a quicker response.
For priority consideration for admission and scholarship funding, we strongly encourage you to submit your application by the recommended deadline.
Cutoff Dates for Graduate Program Applications
Although many graduate programs at BU Wheelock accept applications on a rolling basis, we stop accepting Boston Campus program applications about six weeks before classes begin. Our PhD, MS in Child Life & Family Centered Care, and EdM in Counseling programs do not accept applications on a rolling basis.
