At BU Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, we are committed to supporting your academic and professional journey. BU Wheelock offers scholarships and fellowships designed to recognize your achievements and reduce the financial burden of a graduate education. BU Wheelock Scholarships

Please note, no separate application is required. If you are selected for a BU Wheelock award, you will be notified at the time of your admission.

Master’s & CAGS Students

BU Wheelock offers merit-based scholarships to competitive incoming Master’s and Certificate students. Over 95% of full-time students receive some form of scholarship, tuition discount, fellowship, or assistantship. All admitted students are automatically considered, and no separate application is needed.  Scholarship funding is prioritized for those enrolled full time, though a limited number of awards are available for part-time study. For priority consideration, applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by the recommended admission deadline.

Academic Partnership Programs

To advance our mission of transforming systems of education and human development, BU Wheelock provides scholarships to individuals who are affiliated with one of our academic partner organizations, including City Year, Teach For America, the Peace Corps, Boston Public Schools, and many other organizations. If you are an employee of a participating school or organization, you may qualify for these benefits, which can include scholarships, tuition discounts, or fee waivers. PhD Students 

Incoming BU Wheelock PhD students receive a comprehensive funding package designed to support their academic and professional success. This package includes tuition and stipend support.

Boston University Scholarships & Fellowships

The following scholarship opportunities are available from Boston University and require additional applications.
