Tuition, Fees & Payment

The tuition for a summer course is determined by its number of credits, the level of the course (undergraduate vs graduate), and the Boston University school or college through which it is offered. As an example, in summer 2026, a four-credit undergraduate course charged tuition of $3,380.

Tuition rates for summer 2027 have not yet been posted by the Boston University Board of Trustees. Preliminary rates will be available on December 17. Please check back then for an update.

Note: A late payment fee may be assessed to your student account if your Summer Term payment or receipt of settlement documentation is received after your payment deadline. The late fee schedule for summer 2027 will be available in the spring on the Student Financials website.
