Summer Preview: Tuition & Payment

Note: All summer 2025 tuition and fees are pending approval.

*Note: A $300 nonrefundable deposit (applied to tuition) is required once you commit to attending Summer Preview in order to secure your place in the program.

**A $25 fee is added to your account for each Student Health Services visit.

The residential option is only available for students who are age 14 or older by the start of the program. All rising 8th graders must commute to Summer Preview. Room & Board for residential students includes room, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The application fee and spending money are not included in the total charge.

There is no financial aid available for the Summer Preview program.

Note: Application fees and tuition deposits are nonrefundable. No refund or reduction in the total charge will be made for a student who arrives to the program late, leaves the program early, or is dismissed from the program due to a violation of the program guidelines.

Payment deadline

The payment deadline is May 15, 2025, or the date indicated in your offer of admission. Full payment not received by the deadline may result in the cancellation of your registration and the forfeit of your selected seminar.

How to pay

Boston University accepts payment for Summer Preview by credit card, check, or international wire transfer. You will need your BU ID number to submit payment.

Specific information for making payment, along with your BU ID number, is provided through our online enrollment portal. After completing your Participation Agreement form and paying your nonrefundable $300 deposit, you will receive an email with information about accessing the portal.

Note: International students are also required to submit your Immunization Record Form before you can be registered for the program and receive a BU ID number.
