Rebecca Shangraw
Faculty Fellow for Academic Integrity
Dr. Rebecca Shangraw earned an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Teaching from Boston University, an EdM in Human Movement Education from Boston University, and a BS in Exercise and Sport Science from Colby-Sawyer College (New London, NH). Currently, Dr. Shangraw is a Senior Lecturer of Applied Human Development in the BU-Wheelock College of Education and Human Development, where she is also the program director for the Applied Human Development EdM program. Her research interest involves identifying and investigating recommended teaching practices to use when instructing physical education students or athletes who have specific learning disabilities, ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorders. Dr. Shangraw is a past Fellow at Special Olympics International, as well as a former Associate Dean for Student Affairs in BU-Wheelock.
As the Provost’s Faculty Fellow for Academic Integrity in Undergraduate Affairs, Dr. Shangraw works with the schools and colleges on the substantive issues related to building academic integrity education and recovery programs.
