Lutzko (Pardee ’93) Nominated to Serve as U.S. Attorney

On June 7, 2023, President Joe Biden announced his intentions to nominate two candidates to the federal district courts, one candidate to the Court of Federal Claims, one candidate to the District of Columbia Superior Court, and one individual to serve as U.S. Attorney.

Rebecca C. Lutzko (Pardee ’93) has served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and held several leadership and line assistant positions in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio since 2005. This week she was nominated to the United States Attorney of the Northern District of Ohio. As announced by the White House:

“This candidate was chosen for her devotion to enforcing the law, professionalism, experience and credentials, dedication to pursuing equal justice for all, and commitment to the independence of the Department of Justice.”
