Heine Interviewed on “Xi-Na in the Century of the Dragon”

In an interview with El Dinamo, Jorge Heine, Research Professor at Boston University’s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, discusses his latest book – Xi-Na in the Century of the Dragon – and elaborates on the reasons for China‘s exceptional growth in recent history.

The article, titled “Jorge Heine: hablemos de Xi-na con uno que sabe (Jorge Heine: let’s talk about Xi-na with someone who knows),” addresses one of the main questions posed by Heine’s book: “What does China want,” which has been described as a central question of the 21st century. In his remarks, Heine addresses China’s growing economic stake in Latin America, the slowing of its economic growth, and whether or not it will surpass the United States as the world’s dominant economy.
