Pardee School Students Host 2nd Annual Kindness Week

Graduate students at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University are hosting the school’s second annual Kindness Week from November 11-15, 2019. Kindness Week, which aligns with World Kindness Day on November 13, is a yearly celebration of something that happens every day at the Pardee School.

Kindness Week was started with a vision to promote morale, build community, and facilitate small acts of thanks and kindness on campus.  Kindness themed events and activities during Kindness Week will include treats, thank you cards, motivation post-it notes, and festive decorations throughout the Pardee buildings. There will also be a Tree of Kindness located in the Graduate Student Lounge.  Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to write something positive that they have experienced here at the Pardee School or anywhere.

The Kindness Committee encouraged Pardee School faculty to expand the impact of Kindness Week in several ways including saying happy Kindness Day to students in class and relating lectures and discussions to kindness for a day.
