Pardee School Gathers at 2019 Annual Retreat

The faculty and staff of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University gathered for their sixth annual retreat on September 7, 2019 to plan for the new academic year and discuss the long-term strategic goals and priorities of the school.

In what has become an annual tradition, the retreat provides an opportunity for all faculty and staff to gather for intensive discussions on key strategic issues. These discussions form the basis of the school’s priority-setting and planning for the coming year and beyond.

The retreat brought together full-time faculty, lecturers, directors of the centers and institutes housed at the Pardee School, and staff. Discussions were led by Pardee School Dean Adil Najam including the annual “State of the School” presentation.

Other presentations at the retreat focused on teaching, academic courses as well as the regional and thematic centers and institutes at the Pardee School.

The Pardee School retreat was held at Boston University’s Metcalf Trustee Ballroom.
