Rector of NUST Visits Pardee School

Adil Najam, Dean of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, hosted a delegation from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan on July 8, 2019 at the Pardee School. 

The delegation was led by Lieutenant General (Ret.) Mr. Naweed Zaman, Rector of NUST, and also included Dr. Asif Raza, NUST’s Pro Rector of Academics.

Najam briefed the delegation on global studies at both the Pardee School and Boston University as a whole, and discussed future possibilities of research and academic collaborations between the Pardee School and NUST.

The National University of Sciences and Technology was established for the promotion of higher scientific education in the country, especially in the fields of science and technology, by providing a stable and disciplined academic environment together with need-based research, pertinent to industrial requirements.
