PGC Hosts Coffee and Donuts With Dean Najam

The Pardee Graduate Council (PGC), the official graduate student organization of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston Universityhosted a casual conversation and question-and-answer session with Dean Adil Najam in the Pardee Graduate Student lounge on April 10, 2019.

During the conversation, Najam discussed his personal path to becoming the inaugural dean of the Pardee School, and his belief that being “global,” is an inevitable part of the world that we live in, and why creating a school of global studies at Boston University was so essential. Najam also articulated what makes the Pardee School different from other schools.

He engaged with students, asking about ways to improve the graduate experience at the Pardee School. The event allowed students to get to know Najam in an intimate setting, and ask for advice on how to best navigate their graduate and post-graduate life.

Adil Najam is the inaugural Dean of the Pardee School and a commentator on foreign policy and diplomacy. Learn more about him here.
