The Pardee Works series at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University continued on November 3, 2017 with a discussion with Brenda Martineau (Pardee ’85), Deputy Chief of External Recruiting and Hiring at the National Security Agency and Central Security Service.

Before delivering her presentation, Martineau asked the Pardee School students to share their academic areas of interest as well as qualities they look for in prospective employers.

Martineau’s talk, entitled “The National Security Agency and Central Security Service: Where Intelligence Goes to Work,” covered her experience working for the National Security Agency and Central Security Service in addition to what the agencies look for in prospective employees.

The Pardee Works series focuses on bringing professionals currently working in the diverse field of global studies to present for and network with Pardee School students. Recent Pardee Works talks have covered topics including career opportunities at the CIA and DIA and careers in the Foreign Service. The next Pardee Works talk will focus on how to manage the job application process and how to have a powerful networking conversation.
