The Pardee Graduate Council (PGC) is beginning the 2015-2016 year with a bang.

On Sept. 25, students on the PGC attended a game pitting the Boston Red Sox against the Baltimore Orioles at Boston’s historic Fenway Park, located steps from the Pardee School headquarters on Bay State Road.

The first PGC event of the year brought together 19 first and second year students for a night at Fenway,” said PGC President Charlott Johansen. “Despite varying degrees of understanding for the game, everyone had a great night and it culminated in spectacular catch by the Sox and a crushing defeat over the Orioles.”

On Oct. 1, the PGC hosted an informational breakfast for Pardee School MA students on working at the state department. The event featured a presentation by Pardee School professor and former CIA officer John Woodward.

The Pardee Graduate Council (PGC) is the official graduate student organization of the Pardee School. This vibrant student group organizes a variety of activities to enrich students’ lives, including dinners with faculty members and social events.

Each year in the Spring Semester, the PGC organizes a graduate student conference, centered around a theme chosen by the students.  The conference draws graduate students from the many colleges and universities throughout the Boston area and beyond.
