Haoran Pan
Assistant Professor, Administrative Sciences
Dr. Haoran Pan’s research is focused on applied econometrics, with particular attention to networks and causal inference. He has studied the identification and estimation of treatment effects under network interference; his broader research interests include health economics and industrial organization.
Dr. Pan’s work has been presented at the Boston University–Boston College Greenline Econometrics Meeting, the International Econometrics PhD Conference, the Boston University Econometrics Seminar, and the Microeconometrics Class of 2026 Conference. He has served as a teaching fellow for master’s-level econometrics at Boston University and has held research assistant positions with faculty members at BU and the London School of Economics.
Pan also holds a master’s degree in economics with distinction from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s in accounting and finance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
