2018-2019

In 2018, The Maccabees Project held two conferences, in Jerusalem and Milan.

Feb. 22, 2018: The Maccabees and Archaeology: Old Texts, New Discoveries. This was a day-long workshop at the Albright Institute of Archaeological Research, Jerusalem.


June. 10-15, 2018: The Period of the Middle Maccabees:From the Death of Judas Through the Reign of John Hyrcanus (CA. 160-104 BCE). This five-day workshop was held under the auspices of The Enoch Seminar at the Villa Cagnola, Milan.
