Please join the Boston University Initiative on Cities, Department of Sociology, and Center for Innovation in Social Science as we welcome Professor Loretta Lees, Faculty Director of the Initiative on Cities, to Boston University! Professor Lees comes to BU from the University of Leicester (UK), where she worked for nine years as a professor of human geography and director of research.
Professor Lees will speak about cities and the challenges they face, followed by a discussion alongside BU urban experts including Professor Japonica Brown-Saracino and Associate Professor Katherine Levine Einstein.
