Adam M. Miller Memorial Award

The Miller Award is presented to the graduating senior who has best advanced the reputation and prestige of the Biomedical Engineering Department through his/her involvement in the department, college, or university, as well as through professional activities, organizations, academics and the Senior Design Project. The application consists of a short essay and a faculty recommendation letter. The winner of this award will receive a prize of $250.

  • 4/4/25 – All application materials provided by the student are due online by 11:59pm
  • 4/11/25 – All faculty recommendation materials are due by 11:59pm

    Please describe how the activities you have participated in while at Boston University have advanced the reputation and prestige of the Biomedical Engineering Department. This can be through involvement in the department, college, or university, as well as through professional activities, organizations, academics and the Senior Design Project.

  • Faculty Information

    Complete the next section to identify a College of Engineering professor to write your recommendation. While we would prefer a recommendation from a Biomedical Engineering professor, you may submit a recommendation from other Boston University professors or staff as well.

    The department will contact the professor, using the information you provide, to obtain the recommendation materials. Your application will not be considered complete until this recommendation has been received. We strongly recommend that you speak with this professor before submitting an application.
