Sign Out Dates & Diploma/Certificate Information
GSDM sign out deadlines subject to change. Students will receive detailed instructions prior to sign out.
Four-year DMD Program
| April 1 – May 15 |
DMD sign out process begins. Complete all required signatures to receive a May 18, 2025 diploma (this is your graduation date). |
| May 19 – June 26 |
Complete all required signatures to receive a June 30, 2025 diploma (this is your graduation date). |
| June 30 – August 15 |
Complete all required signatures to receive an August 25, 2025 diploma (this is your graduation date). |
| August 16 |
Students who have not completed sign out are enrolled for the Fall 2025 semester and assessed tuition and fees. |
| December 12 |
Complete all required signatures to receive a January 2026 diploma. |
For Diploma & Graduation Information
Login to MyBU Student Portal under the “Tasks” section:
- Update “Diploma Name” by Deadline TBD
- View honors information.

Two-year DMD Advanced Standing (AS) Program
| July 1 |
Two-year DMD AS sign out process begins |
| July 25 |
First date that students may complete sign out and request final signature from the Office of the Registrar. |
| August 15 |
Deadline to complete all required signatures to receive an August 25, 2025 diploma (this is your graduation date). |
| August 16 |
Students who have not completed sign out are enrolled for the Fall 2025 semester and assessed tuition and fees. |
| December 12 |
Complete all required signatures to receive a January 2026 diploma. |

- Update “Diploma Name” by Deadline TBD
- View honors information.
