Larry Brown Jr.

Advanced Psychology Intern

Larry J. Brown, Jr. is a clinical psychology PhD candidate at Howard University and is a graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Divinity (2015). He works with adults across the lifespan in individual and group settings via an integrative orientation utilizing primarily psychodynamic/relational and cognitive-behavioral approaches. Larry engages psychotherapy as a collaboratively created space that aims to empower persons to see and shift. His initial hope is that persons are able to think, feel, and imagine with a greater sense of self and depth of love. When not engaged in studies or life obligations, he enjoys anime, sports, video games, good reads, and thoughtful to light-hearted conversations about anything in between the past and the future. He is an ordained minister and connects with process-relational theology/thought.
