  • Request proof of graduation (final transcript) from your high school
  • Submit your Advanced Placement and/or International Baccalaureate scores, if applicable

  • CGS Matriculation: Sunday, January 17, 2027
  • Housing assignments announced
  • Deadline to complete Part 1 of AlcoholEdu and Sexual Assault Prevention requirements
  • Move-in date: January 14, 2027 (More information here)
  • Check your compliance status in the MyBU Student Portal
  • Attend the student activities fair and find activities to join through the Student Activities Office
  • Attend CGS welcome events
  • Classes begin: January 19, 2027

  • Deadlines announced for: Program Refunds, if applicable; Withdrawals/Leaves of Absence, if applicable

February 2027

Spring Term in Boston Preparation
  • Complete Part 2 of AlcoholEdu and Sexual Assault Prevention requirements
Summer Term in London or New England Preparation
  • Early–mid February: Introduction to your BU Study Abroad London CGS program manager and access to your BU Study Abroad Portal
  • Review the London pre-departure page from Study Abroad and collect London pre-departure documents
  • Summer payment plan information becomes available
  • Deadline for obtaining or renewing passport
  • Mid-February: Connect with Disability & Access Services: If you receive accommodations for either housing or in the classroom, please contact BU DAS to ensure they submit a letter to study abroad on your behalf
  • End of February–early March: Information about flights will be sent by your London Study Abroad program manager. Please refrain from purchasing flights until you receive further information. If you book flights with incorrect dates, you will be responsible for changing your flight.

March 2027

Summer Term in London or New England Preparation
  • London pre-departure documents due March 15
  • Deadline to submit London housing preferences
  • DAS letters due

April 2027

Summer Term in London or New England Preparation
  • Early April: Mandatory in-person pre-departure orientation
  • Deadline to submit arrival information and upload passport to the London personal page
  • Deadline to complete independent flight form, if applicable
  • Mid-April: London housing assignments are released
  • Review the Study Abroad pre-departure page for details on program travel, orientation, housing, living in London, social events, health and emergency information
  • Attend mandatory pre-departure meetings to review London arrival, housing, academic logistics
  • Abroad health insurance information becomes available

May 2027
