Transfer Units

If you are seeking transfer units for an external course taken during your gap semester, it is critical that you review our transfer unit policy and follow the listed steps.

Apply For or Renew Your Passport

Apply for or renew your passport: It’s time to complete your first London-related action item: apply for or renew your passport. Your passport must be valid until late February 2028. Normal processing times can take between 4-6 weeks. You should plan to have your official passport processed and delivered back to you by the time you arrive on campus in January 2027. Your Free Pass to a Passport Grant: Each semester, Boston University Study Abroad offers a limited number of grants and scholarships to eligible students. The Your Free Pass to a Passport Grant is based on financial need and students must submit both pages of the application.

CliftonStrengths

The CliftonStrengths assessment tool is available to all incoming CGS students. This valuable tool will help you identify and articulate your top strengths as you begin setting your academic goals, applying to internships, and planning your future. We strongly encourage you to explore the tool and use it in discussions with your advisor. You can access CliftonStrengths by clicking “Create an account” at this link.
