Dean’s Advisory Board Gains Two New Members
Established two years ago, the Dean’s Advisory Board provides Dean Linda Wells with guidance, acting as a sounding board on matters relating to the College of General Studies. The Board, which is made up mostly of CGS alumni, will welcome two new members in April: Abigail Bowers (CGS’85, CAS’86) and Debralee Goldberg (CGS’76, CAS’78). Based in Connecticut, Bowers is currently vice president and director of the Widgeon Point Charitable Foundation. She is the parent of a current CGS student, continuing her family’s BU tradition. Goldberg, who received the CGS Distinguished Alumni Award in 2009, is president and chief executive officer of International Financial Data Services (Canada) Ltd. Her son also attended CGS and graduated from the School of Management in 2008.
