CGS Alums’ Film Set for October Release Date
Mark DiCristofaro (CGS’06, COM’08) is the producer of a film, Brampton’s Own, that will premiere in theaters on October 19. Directed and written by Michael Doneger and starring Alex Russell (S.W.A.T.) and Rose McIver (iZombie), the film tells the story of a retired athlete trying to find his place:
A struggling minor league baseball player retires and woefully returns to his small hometown, carefully dodging old wounds until confronted with the one that hurts the most – the girl that got away.
Other supporting roles will be filled by Jean Smart, Scott Porter, and Spencer Grammer. Brampton’s Own made its world premiere at the Nashville Film Festival in May 2018.
