Boston-London Students Share #My100Days Adventures
This semester, Boston University College of General Studies asked Boston-London Program students to share their gap semester experiences with the hashtag #My100Days. The Boston-London program program allows students the opportunity to study abroad during their freshman year. After taking a gap semester in the fall, students arrive at BU in January and then travel to London for the summer term to complete their second semester. #My100Days shows how these students have been spending their gap semester before arriving at BU.
Rilie finished a master dive course in the Honduras Island of Roatan during her #My100Days.Liam volunteered on a small family farm and vineyard in Central and South France during his #My100Days.Miles went on a mountaineering and sea kayaking leadership expedition during his #My100Days.
Katie conducted research on age-related macular degeneration at Schepens Eye Research Institute during her #My100Days.
Kyle B. says, “Spending #My100Days going bar down in Agganis Arena, managing the team I grew up watching.”
Kyle C. traveled to Normandy with his dad and uncles to see the sights his grandfather talked about in his war stories.
Cindy worked at a hostel in Portugal and then went to Macau, “reaching back to my roots.”
Jennifer explored historical sites in Washington D.C. and Philadelphia and worked at an Italian restaurant.
Crystal Zima continued to make memories while teaching her students swimming lessons during her #My100Days.
