CGS annual Freshman Essay Contest Winners
Ellie Molitor won the annual CGS freshman essay contest.
The CGS Annual Freshman Essay Contest is sponsored by the Division of Rhetoric. Professors nominated outstanding papers written by their freshmen students. Prizewinning essays were determined by a panel of 5 professors.
- First Prize: Ellie Molitor for her essay entitled “An Intelligently Designed Curriculum: How the Use of Clever Language May Change School Board Standards Regarding the Teaching of Creationism in Public Schools.” molitor
- First Runner Up: Elizabeth Henehan for her essay entitled “Becoming American.”
- Second Runner Up: Sean Finnegan for his essay entitled “An Attempt at Teaching Learning.”
