Professional exhibition space for our visual arts students

We love CFA’s Commonwealth Gallery, located in the middle of CFA’s first floor, adjacent to BU’s Faye G., Jo, and James Stone Gallery. Students get to see the exhibitions as they go from one class to another. Guests attending a performance in Studio ONE and exiting through our front doors? They’ll also walk through the gallery, and stop to look at the fascinating work our students have created.

With an open floor plan, the CFA community and all visitors witness a dedicated professional exhibition space that showcases the work of School of Visual Arts undergraduate and graduate students.

Commonwealth Gallery displays solo and group exhibitions on a rotating basis throughout the academic year.

Commonwealth Gallery’s hours are concurrent with the building hours of CFA.
