Piano/Organ Teacher Needed in Cambridge Piano Lessons
Cambridge Piano Lessons (https://cambridgepiano.com) is seeking an experienced, motivated and dependable Piano Teacher to begin work immediately. The ideal applicant will be someone who enjoys working with students of all ages and levels from young children to adults.
Teaching responsibilities include private lessons, student preparation for end-of-semester recitals, competitions, and other events; and recital attendance. Timeliness and excellent communication skills with students, parents, and staff are essential.
Initially seeking availability for Wednesday afternoons/evenings, Saturdays 12:00 to 4:00 pm, and/or Sundays. The position has the potential to expand into additional hours and days. The payment will be $35-$45/hour based on experience
Regular weekly teaching throughout the school year (September-June) is required. Strong preference to those who can teach during at least part of the summer.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of teaching experience as well as a degree in classical piano performance — Master’s degree is preferred. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Director of Vocal Ensembles Needed at MIT
The Music and Theater Arts Section at MIT is looking for an Director of Vocal Ensembles (non-tenure track).
The MIT Music and Theater Arts Section is seeking a full-time Director to lead our vocal ensembles. The rank of Director/Lecturer I holds an initial appointment of three years with potential for a five-year reappointment to Director/Lecturer II, and further renewals at that rank. The qualified candidate has at least two years of conducting experience at the university level, or equivalent professional experience. DMA or PhD required (ABD considered, but degree must be conferred by June 30, 2023). The starting date will be on July 1st, 2023.

Tenor Soloist, Vocal Quartet Member, Choir Section Leader (Rhode Island)
Tenor soloist, vocal quartet member, and choir section leader needed: Rhode Island
St. Martin of Tours Episcopal Church in Providence, RI, is seeking a tenor soloist, vocal quartet member, and choir section leader.
Responsibilities generally include one weekly rehearsal (usually Thursday evening) and service (Sunday morning), with occasional additional rehearsals and services for special observances such Ash Wednesday, Christmas, Easter, etc., as well as an Evensong service on the second Sunday of each month. Repertoire is mainly within the Anglican sacred tradition, with an emphasis on English Renaissance polyphony sung as part of a vocal quartet; occasional solo work; and section leadership when the volunteer choir performs (usually once per month).
Payment: $70 per session, which generally equals $140 per week, with additional payments for any additional rehearsals and services.
Required skills: Excellent musicianship, the ability to read music (bass and treble clefs), and the capacity to blend within the vocal quartet, especially when singing “early” music.
