Analytical Services & Institutional Research works closely with other offices and working groups at Boston University that are concerned with the quality, accuracy, and appropriateness of data and analytics accessed by the BU community.
Compliance Services supports the departments with primary responsibility for compliance and coordinates the University’s efforts to meet these obligations efficiently and effectively.
Part of the Office of the Provost, Graduate Affairs supports hundreds of BU graduate programs across 17 schools and colleges.

IA&AS at Boston University provides objective and independent assurance, advisory and investigative services to reduce risks and improve operations.
Office of Diversity & Inclusion
Part of the Office of the Provost, this office works to establish programs and initiatives that support BU’s goals for diversity as well as creating an inclusive campus for faculty, staff, and students.
The office, composed of a group of attorneys with legal expertise covering the full range of issues faced in higher education, has responsibility for all legal matters affecting the University.
Office of the University Registrar
The University Registrar supervises registration and the evaluation of transfer credit, maintain student academic records and record grades, issue transcripts, verify enrollment and graduation, issue diplomas, assign classrooms, produce the class schedule, schedule final examinations, and oversee production of the Bulletin and the Degree Advice system.
Part of the Office of the Provost, Undergraduate Affairs provides leadership for University-wide undergraduate academic programs, including the BU Hub, the University’s general education curriculum.
BU Privacy Committee
The Boston University Privacy Committee is composed of information experts from functional areas that span the university’s academic and administrative services. This committee is charged with reviewing and recommending policy and procedures associated with use and privacy of university data.
