The Boston University Office of the University Registrar maintains student records; issues transcripts; verifies attendance; issues diplomas; produces the class schedule; supervises registration and Veterans Affairs; and records grades. Boston University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc.

It is the University’s expectation that students will establish a BU login name and Kerberos password to access the Student Link. Students are also expected to acquire a BU e-mail account. Official correspondence from the University including registration eligibility and compliance status is sent to the student’s BU e-mail address.
