English Proficiency Waiver Request

If your first language or the primary language spoken in your home is not English, you must take either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or the Duolingo English Test (DET).  However, an undergraduate applicant may request an English proficiency waiver.  Waiver requests should only be submitted once the online portal indicates your admissions application is complete for review.  The decision to waive the English proficiency requirement is at the discretion of the Board of Admissions.  The online waiver request form will become available here on this page by October 1, 2026.
