November 8-An Evening with Dorian Tocker. After his mother died, BU graduate Tocker sold his family home so he could finance his feature film, Everyday Saturday, and, in shooting, commemorate his mom. Utilizing a European style, austere yet compassionate, the filmmaker shows the anxious life of Evelyn, a middle-class woman, and the fantasies she desperately builds around her collegiate son. He’s a slacker, as baffled about where he’s going, what he’s doing, as his faltering mother.
