Minors
Amplify Your Opportunities
Undergraduate students can pursue a minor through any of the College’s departments and divisions. Minors complement a degree by adding the in-depth study of a additional field to a foundational engineering degree. Students receive exposure to supplemental engineering disciplines, faculty and research at a time when the demand for well-rounded engineers is growing.
Minors are noted on students’ transcripts and can be earned through the completion of five carefully selected courses (20 credits). Two courses (eight credits) may overlap with your major.
Students planning to pursue a minor should apply as early as possible to facilitate course planning and in no case later than October 1 of the senior year.
