Boston University Dining Services serves 6.2 million meals a year from 3 residential dining halls, 1 kosher dining hall, 2 catering operations, 1 faculty dining room and 15 retail locations. We aspire to improve the health of all members of the Boston University community and have a positive impact on our environment, by increasing access to fresh, healthy and wholesome foods and beverages offered in University facilities.  We promote agricultural practices that are ecologically sound, socially responsible and economically viable with our purchasing strategies.  We also strive to inform the University community of such practices through education and marketing.

Each year we publish a sustainability report which tracks our progress and outlines our goals. We are pleased to announce that we have reached our 20% sustainable food commitment, three years ahead of schedule in this year’s report.
