On-Campus Visit Programming Information

Boston University has suspended all on-campus visit programming, including Information Sessions and Tours, for the remainder of the summer due to ongoing concerns posed by coronavirus (COVID-19). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and encourage all prospective visitors to schedule a visit to BU at a later date, explore campus online by using our interactive Virtual Tour, and engage with admissions officers and current BU students by participating in our virtual eventsInformation about alternative programming, including virtual events, will be posted online in the coming weeks. To opt into receiving email communications about these additional initiatives, please fill out our Request for Information form. Please visit Boston University Admissions’ FAQs for more information.

BU Admissions is located at the Alan and Sherry Leventhal Center. We strongly advise that visitors use public transportation.

Address: 233 Bay State Road, Boston, MA 02215.

Public Transportation

  • The Massachusetts Bay Transit System (MBTA), Green Line B train passes right through campus. Locals refer to the subway as the T.
  • The Boston University East stop on the B line is a short walk from the Leventhal Center.
  • From this stop, follow Granby Street to Bay State Road, and then turn left on Bay State Road. You will see the red awning of the Leventhal Center ahead on the ride side of the road.

Parking on Campus

Parking at BU is extremely limited due to ongoing campus improvements and the challenges of parking in Boston. If you are driving to campus, plan to arrive early so you have ample time to locate parking prior to your visit.

There are a limited number of metered parking spots throughout campus. Meters take credit cards or quarters (there is a change machine at the Leventhal Center) or can be paid with the Park Boston app. The Bay State Road meters near Granby Street are closest to the Leventhal Center.
