The Student Recruitment service supports undergraduate recruiting functions from initial lead generation (purchased lists of names or self-identified inquiries) through the application for undergraduate admission. The service combines the Salesforce CRM platform, Marketing Cloud, TargetX, and a suite of supporting applications to provide features and functionality to enhance the university’s relationship with prospective students and their families. The Student Recruitment service supports the recruitment of undergraduate students by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Future implementations are expected to expand use to other areas.

What to Expect

This service normally will be available 24 by 7 except for standard change windows, as described in IS&T’s standard policies, procedures, and schedules for making changes.

Requirements

  • BU login name and Kerberos password
  • BU Salesforce user license and access profile
  • Training in Student Recruitment functions

Getting Started

Currently, access to the Student Recruitment service is limited to the Office of Enrollment and Student Administration (ENSA). Staff in those offices can contact their Departmental Security Administrator (DSA) or submit a request for access.
