In this hybrid workshop, students will learn strategies and concepts to integrate what’s most important for their wellbeing into their routines and develop a rhythm of life that supports their personal, academic and professional pursuits.

Hosted on Tuesday, April 4, 5:15 - 6:15 pm EST. In-person location: SSW Room 119. Or attend via Zoom link here.

Plant Yourself Pop-Up 3/1

Student Wellbeing, in collaboration with BU Zen, is delighted to promote emotional and environmental wellbeing through a pop-up event titled Plant Yourself! Swing by the GSU Link on Wednesday, March 1 between 4:30 - 6:30 pm to decorate a pot for your very own succulent plant.

Research shows that coloring can be an effective way to reduce stress by focusing one’s attention on the present moment, similar to how meditation trains one to bring their attention back to the breath whenever the mind wanders. And, did you know exposure to nature has been linked to improved attention, lower stress, better mood, and even upticks in empathy? Don't miss out on this chance to cultivate emotional and environmental wellbeing through one activity!

Student Wellbeing Offers Summer 2023 HUB Co-Curricular

Thriving Together: Student Wellbeing at BU

Thriving Together: Student Wellbeing at BU is a New Hub cocurricular experience that satisfies 1 Hub unit in “Teamwork/Collaboration” within the BU HUB’s “Intellectual Toolkit” capacity.

The concept of wellbeing has become popularized in many work and educational settings. At BU, Student Wellbeing was created to foster the holistic wellbeing of students. However, the meaning of wellbeing and how it is lived out can look different for each person. This Hub cocurricular learning experience invites students to explore what wellbeing looks like in their own lives through seven dimensions: physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, financial, environmental, and social. Throughout the course, students will explore wellbeing ideas and concepts through teamwork activities that culminate in a proposal for a wellbeing project which aligns with Student Wellbeing’s mission. The final projects will be considered for funding by Student Wellbeing.

HUB Co-Curricular offered Summer Term 2: July 5-August 15 and will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:30-3:15 pm.

Summer course registration starts 2/16/23 on MyBU Student Portal.
