SPH and GMS Students Race Around Boston in Terrier Pursuit

Student Wellbeing hosted its first-ever “Terrier Pursuit: a Boston Scavenger Hunt” for Medical Campus students on Saturday, September 24.

Designed to promote physical, social, environmental, and intellectual wellbeing, the event invited students from the School of Public Health (SPH), Graduate Medical Sciences (GMS), School of Medicine (MED) and Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) to form teams, decode clues, and race around the city taking selfies at ten different landmarks.

From Harriett Tubman Park to the Hood Milk Bottle outside the Children’s Museum, students ultimately traversed through the Back Bay, South End, Beacon Hill, Downtown, Government Center, Seaport and North End neighborhoods in three-to-four hours.

Six teams competed, with Team Canada (SPH) claiming the top prize of $50 Amazon gift cards. Boston Hunters (GMS) came in second to win $25 GrubHub gift cards, and MAMAs (GMS) earned the third-place prize of $15 Starbucks gift cards. All three finalists got Student Wellbeing t-shirts and goodies, too.

Congratulations to all participants and look out for another edition of “Terrier Pursuit” coming soon to the Charles River Campus!
